Mission Statement
Scouting Objective
To contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals and to be responsible ambassadors of Islam in our multicultural world.
To offer a balanced programme of activities, in a safe and caring environment where young people have fun, experience new and challenging activities, make new friends, get outdoors, learn new skills and explore the wider world.
All this is only possible with the help of our volunteers, who will have the opportunity to develop their skills through training programmes and experience new adventures.
Join
Alhamdulillah, 10th Fulwood Salaam Scouts group has grown immensely over the last few years with an ever growing waiting list across all sections for new joiners.
To manage the group effectively and expections of parents, we have had to make a difficult decision to stop taking any further applications for the foreseeable future. We thank you for your understanding. #SkillsForLife
We run sessions across all sections on a Sunday:
Beavers, Cubs & Scouts: Sunday's 10:15am - 12pm
Himalaya Explorers: Alternate Sundays 10:15am - 12:15pm

Volunteer
Our Group is run entirely by our adult volunteers. Each person plays an integral part in the team; uniformed leaders, occasional helpers, the executive committee and young leaders.
Volunteering is one of the most fun, rewarding and enjoyable things you will ever do. You can give as much or as little time as you can, as your volunteering commitments may change from time to time.
I promise to do my best, to be kind and helpful, and to love Allah

Himalaya Explorer Scouts are young people aged between 14 and 18 years old.
Unfortunately we currently have no spaces available in Explorers.
Explorer Scouts meet as Units, and are organised and run at the District level. However, Himalaya Explorers section is closely linked to 10th Fulwood and also runs a Young Leader programme which provides support for the junior sections at 10th Fulwood.
The sky is literally the limit when it comes to the activities available to Explorers. As an Explorer Scout, you will be able to decide, along with the rest of the Unit, what you want to do – whether it’s canoeing, karting, hiking or exploring the world!
We are a truly Youth Shaped section. Being an Explorer scout allows you to be a part of the youth shaped Scouting and take a leading role in the following areas, Programme, Leadership, Management and Governance
